RETAIL ASSISTANT (PART TIME)

We are looking for a part-time shop staff member who is friendly, confident and enjoys working in a team.  Customer Service is our number one priority, so we need someone who understands and enjoys this element of the job.
 

Job Role: 

  • Serving and advising customers (includes playing with and fussing dogs!!) 
  • Ensuring shelves and freezers are kept filled (this is a physically demanding job) 
  • Picking and packing orders for local collection, deliveries and DPD couriers 
  • Answer the telephone and taking bookings for the clinic 
  • Use of the EPOS system 
  • Harness Fittings 
  • Assisting in the Centre (supervise group play, fun swims and wash & go)  

Person Specification: 

  • Experience of working within a retail environment is desirable but full training will be given 
  • Experience of owning a dog and canine care is extremely desirable but full training will be given 
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and keeping calm under pressure 
  • Friendly and confident attitude when dealing with customers and their dogs 
  • Punctual 
  • Willing to learn 

Hours 
22.5 hours per week 

Salary 
Minimum wage dependant on age
